Bruin Run/Walk's Costume Contest:
Based off of last year's successful Costume Contest, Bruin Run/Walk will once again incorporate a Costume Contest into our annual run! We want to see your best ~summer camp~ themed costumes on April 23rd.
Judging will take place before the official race begins and we will announce the winners upon all the racers return from your 5K run (or walk)! Whether you choose an individual or team costume, get creative and have a fun time with this year’s theme - summer camp!
CONTEST RULES:
1. Costumes must align to our theme!
2. The costumes can be individual or in a team (under 10 people)
3. Must be dressed in costume before the race. Individual’s preference if they would like to run/walk in their costumes.
4. Judging will begin at 6:30AM and end at 8:30AM.
5. Prizes will be awarded in 4 categories: Kids, UCLA students, Adults, and Team!
6. Please keep your costumes appropriate, its for the kids!
Kids Run:
Following the 5K, we will be holding a Kids Run for the children who want to get into the spirit of the event! Any child age 4-10 is welcome and encouraged to run! We will announce for the kids to meet at the starting line prior to beginning. The race route is a quick race, once around Wilson Plaza.
