Bruin Run/Walk is one of twelve committees within UCLA's USAC Student Wellness Commission (SWC). BRW organizes one of the largest student-run events on campus each year: a 5K in the spring. For the past 25 years, this event has brought together nearly 1000 students, UCLA faculty, and members of the greater LA community in support of a meaningful cause. All funds raised support The Painted Turtle, a year-round specialty camp for children who have serious medical conditions. All campers and their families attend free of charge.
