About Us
Bruin Run/Walk is one of twelve committees within UCLA's USAC Student Wellness Commission (SWC). BRW organizes one of the largest student-run events on campus each year: a 5K in the spring. For the past 25 years, this event has brought together nearly 1000 students, UCLA faculty, and members of the greater LA community in support of a meaningful cause. All funds raised support The Painted Turtle, a year-round specialty camp for children who have serious medical conditions. All campers and their families attend free of charge. This year, we are excited to have our event on April 19, 2026 in Wilson Plaza at UCLA!
